The Yakult Ladies are born, hostesses that are well-trained on the properties of the product, with the role to deliver Yakult door-to-door in all of Japan, even in the remotest villages. Dr. Shirota made an important contribution to the emancipation of women in Japan, where, nowadays, there are over 44.000 Yakult Ladies.
